Amy is a recent graduate from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre with a specialization in Acting and Audience Services. She loves every aspect of the theatre and acting, whether that be front of house, film, community theatre, musicals, improv, or other performing activities such as sketch comedy and stand-up.
From 2012-2013, Amy was President of the Theatre Course Union at the University of Victoria. She has also served on the board as Second Year Representative of the Student Alternative Theatre Company at Uvic from 2011-2012. One of her biggest accomplishments was working as a character performer for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.
Her recent projects include playing Beatrice Wilde in the Phoenix Theatre’s production of Unity (1918), directed for the first time by the playwright Kevin Kerr. Amy has produced her own work with co-creator Blair Moro under their newly formed Singles Awareness Theatre Company. Their troupe performed a completely improvised courtroom drama, Improv On Trial, at the 2014 Victoria Fringe Festival, and a sketch comedy and improv piece, You Had Me at Improv, at the 2013 Victoria Fringe Festival.
Amy was born and raised in Ontario, Canada, and currently lives in Victoria, BC.
Her favourite past times are reading, playing video games, watching movies, singing, and performing. Amy is a self-admitted chocoholic and dog lover, and has an obsession with Harry Potter, Game of Thrones, and all things Disney.
